Whether you are just visiting Portland, or are a local looking for something new to do, here are the 15 best things to do while in the City of Roses. Of course everything is fun if you are  high, and PotMates will deliver high quality flower, vape cartridges, or edibles to your door but  even if you aren’t high you’ll still be able to enjoy these Portland sights. Plus, maybe even as a  local there will be things on this list you haven’t thought of doing before making this list the  perfect choice if you want to be a tourist in your own city.

1. Haunted Underground Shanghai Tunnels – Definitely on the darker side of Portland history,  these tunnels were used to keep goods safe from the elements, as well as more illicit  behaviors like alcohol provisions and opium dens during the prohibition era. You can even  find tours online that take you through the tunnels and offer a brewery tasting at the end.  Who doesn’t love a good scary story, high or not.

2. Portland International Rose Test Garden – Of course the time of year is going to greatly  impact this activity, the Rose Test Garden is absolutely stunning when the season is right. It  was established in 1917, making it the oldest garden of its time. The smell of roses could  probably keep you hanging around all day, and with such a wide variety of roses you aren’t  likely to get bored very easily.

3. Portland Art Museum – Whether you are a tourist or a local, it is always a good idea to take a  day and bask in some culture. There’s certainly no better way to do that then check out the  current exhibits at the Portland Art Museum. Even if you’ve been before there are always  new exhibits to check out, and if you’re high you might just become an insightful art critic  for the afternoon.

4. Forest Park – A great way to get away from the bustle of the city while still being in the city.  With no entrance fee, is it a great free option in Portland to do some sightseeing and just  relax. It is also 5,200 acres in size, so even if you have been before there is bound to be a  new space to explore every time you go.

5. Oregon Museum of Science and Industry – If you are a fan of science and history, or even  just love an interactive museum, OMSI is the perfect way to spend a day. With lots of exhibit  topics, a planetarium, IMAX theater, and riverfront eatery it will be easy to spend a whole  day getting lost here.

6. Food Cart Pods – These can be found all around Portland with lots of different food options.  Great if you aren’t sure what you are in the mood to eat, and some are open late for anyone  with the munchies, or just in the mood for a late night snack.

7. Powells City of Books – Even if you aren’t a reader you are sure to enjoy this multi-level  bookstore in downtown Portland that is just absolutely full of any kind of book you could  dream of. Of course if you are a reader I’m sure this is already on your list and all we have to  say is that you certainly won’t regret it.

8. The Witch’s Castle – A weirder part of Portlands history, this site has been home to a wide  variety of curiosities, ranging from murder to parties. If you are looking for a short hike that  ends in a weird site then this is perfect for you. If you have been, maybe it’s time to try it  high.

9. The Freakybuttrue Peculiarium – In the true fashion of keeping Portland weird, this eclectic  museum-and-shop is full of fun and weird things. This is certainly your best option if you  want to do something truly unusual.

10. Multnomah Falls – While this activity is more of a drive it is absolutely worth it for the  stunning views of the waterfall. If you have extra time it might be worth it to do the 7 mile  hike by it that is full of other waterfalls and exquisite views.
